Pool Party!!!

The pool at Renaissance gets a good deal of routine use by its regular devotees, usually some laps, low-impact, high-resistance exercises, or rehab.

But our wonderful Residents organised a more exciting use last week, throwing a ‘Pool Party’!

The Pool area looked amazing, decked out with pool toys and beach themed decorations, even a bubble machine, which was a bright change from the functional exercise equipment usually in place.

It was lots of fun both in and out of the pool with plenty of summery drinks on offer and a party atmosphere.

To top it off, many Residents said it felt like they were on a mini holiday without ever leaving home. There was music playing, lots of laughter and a relaxed sense of togetherness that set the tone for the afternoon. It created a lovely opportunity for everyone to unwind, share a few stories and enjoy the warm weather from the comfort of their community.

Events like this highlight the spirit of Renaissance Living. They remind us that wellbeing is not only about structured activity or routine, but also about connection and joy. Judging by the smiles and the requests for a repeat event, this will not be the last time the pool gets transformed into a cheerful summertime escape.
